A bit about me...

​

My name is Sarah and I am a private home care provider, based in St Merryn and operating within the Seven Bays area. 

 

I began my journey in the care sector in March 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic when, like many others, I found myself with two businesses that couldn't operate and lots of time on my hands.  I heard an advert on Pirate FM appealing for more carers to work across the Duchy and I thought why not?  Turned out to be the best thing I have ever done and those that know me know, I've done quite a lot!

For the first time in my working life I was able to experience and appreciate the wonderful feeling you get at the end of the day knowing you have helped,  in some small way to make someone else's life better... and I loved it!

I worked hard, received promotions and put myself through intensive training, gaining my Level 3 in Adult Social Care and Lead to Succeed  qualifications. Following each promotion, I found myself further and further away from the doing the job that I actually loved - caring for people, supporting them to live their day to day lives and making a difference. So I took the decision to leave the public sector and  Seven Bays Care was born...

I'm taking all of the aspects of home care that I truly believe in so that I can dedicate myself to providing personalised, holistic home care for your loved one - delivering care the way it should be.
